• 1990 head of the asthma and allergy outpatient department under Prof. D. Reinhardt at the Pediatric Clinic, LMU Munich
• since 1992 joint practice at the Med-Nord Outpatient Clinic, Munich, focusing on the area of allergology and pulmonology in children and adolescents

Residency

• 1986–1992 trained as a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, additional training in neonatology at the Pediatric Clinic, LMU Munich, under Prof. H. Spiess
• Further training to acquire specialist qualification in the field of allergology

University study and training

• 1981 state examination and doctorate at LMU Munich
• 1982–1986 academic councilor at the chair for physical medicine, balneology and climatology at the University of Munich, Großhadern

Further training

• 1985 additional qualifications in physiotherapy and naturopathy
• 2000 certification as a qualified coach for asthma and atopic dermatitis
