We treat children and teenagers who suffer from indigestion, vomiting, diarrhea, frequent or painful bowel movement as well as stomach pains, constipation flatulence and sickness.
Another focus lies on problems of failure to thrive, in this case failure of weight development are more affected than the development of the body height.
Frequently problems concerning this matter are food intolerance such as Celiac disease (gluten intolerance) or disorders of digesting carbohydrate components such as lactose (milk sugar), fructose (fruit sugar) or sorbitol (sugar substitute).
Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, disorders of the liver, the pancreas and the gall bladder are further symptoms, which concern the field of gastroenterology.
